Modern Pack Lanka Clinches Gold at CNCI Achiever Awards 2026
Modern Pack Lanka (Pvt) Ltd has been honoured with the prestigious Gold Award in the Extra Large Category at the National Level at the CNCI Achiever Awards 2026, organized by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI), Sri Lanka’s oldest industrial chamber.
This recognition marks another significant milestone in the company’s journey of excellence, innovation and continuous improvement in Sri Lanka’s manufacturing sector.
Established in 1993 by Ms. Sheamalee Wickramasinghe and Ms. Nishka Wickramasinghe as a joint venture with Modern Pack Singapore, the company began its operations manufacturing biscuit trays for the CBL Group. Today, Modern Pack Lanka has evolved into a leading packaging manufacturer, serving prominent local and multinational brands across diverse industries.
Recognized as a leader in Sri Lanka’s thermoforming industry, the company has expanded its capabilities into Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Plastic Sheet Extrusion, Aluminium Foil Printing and Precision Mold Manufacturing through its dedicated MPL Engineering Division.
Modern Pack Lanka has also earned international recognition, winning the prestigious WorldStar Packaging Awards in 2015 and 2025, considered among the highest global honours in the packaging industry awarded by World Packaging Organization.
